Artist Steven H. Silberg creates work that provokes us into re-evaluating the way we experience everyday images. His expansion of the still photographic image into longer “exposures” presents us with a final image that indicates the passage of time, the subject, and the process in a single visual experience.

By translating the traditional photographic technique of long exposure into contemporary computer imaging methods, Silberg challenges and expands our perception of what information an image can contain and how beautifully that information can be conveyed.
